- The National Library of Medicine search engine. Just enter "WBGT" and
click on "Search". The recent medical literature on this subject will appear at
http://www.kjrh.com - A nice
site for a variety of weather data. Just go to Weather to find a Heat Index calculator.
Nearly every commercial television station has a similar feature, and you might want to
find one in your locale.
- The American College of Sports Medicine, the organization which addresses sports
health issues as its main activity. Go to "Newsroom and Publications" at the top
of the home page, then on the next page click on "Position Stands" in the left
hand column. This will take the reader to evidence-based recommendations on a wide variety
of sports medicine questions.
